Intelligent competition requires an indication of trends and a knowledge of the situation in the marketplace. It is one of the functions of this Institute to collect and disseminate statistical information concerning products within the scope of the Hydraulic Institute pursuant to the policies discussed in this section. Participation by eligible member companies is strictly voluntary.
