Pumps and Compressors - A Current Industrial Report 

Scope of the Survey: 
This survey covers producers engaged in manufacturing industrial pumps (reciprocating, turbine, centrifugal and rotary pumps); domestic water systems, including domestic sump pumps; oil well and oil well pumps; air compressors; gas compressors and vacuum pumps. Very small firms (generally less than 5 employees) are excluded. Also excluded are hand pumps; measuring and dispensing pumps; automotive circulating pumps; hydraulic fluid power pumps; paint-spraying equipment; compressors for ice-making; refrigeration equipment, and air-conditioning units; and replacement and repair parts for pumps and compressors.
