- Provide staff leadership for the accomplishment of HI’s
Mission, Vision, Goals, and Objectives, focusing on the Institute’s Strategic
- Facilitate development of technical standards and guidelines
for pumps, maintaining documents per ANSI Essential Requirements and HI Policy
- Incumbent will assist in the development and support of all
aspects of the Institute’s technical programs, including the development of
standards, guidelines, and technical documents.
Will also provide support for webinars, educational and certification
and labeling programs, as required to maintain the accuracy, high integrity,
and objectivity of HI products

Standards Engineer - Entry-level
- Review and edit standards and guidelines developed by
technical committees as they progress from committee draft stage through
publication, in accordance with the HI Policy and Procedures, Bylaws, and HI
- Develop and maintain, and manage assigned Technical Affairs
files and drafts of technical documents in compliance with ANSI Essential
Requirements the ANSI Auditing Process, and the HI Document Retention Policy to
ensure that HI passes ANSI audit successfully
- Provide editorial and production support of standards to
ensure compliance with ANSI standards development protocols and the approval of
HI Standards as American National Standards
- Work and coordinate with HI staff on matters regarding the
marketing and promotion of HI Standards and technical products, by
creating/maintaining appropriate write-ups of technical documents for the
e-Store, press releases, articles and other purposes
