150 years old! LaBour/Taber traces its roots back to 1859 with the founding of the Taber Pump Company in Buffalo, New York specializing in vertical, rotary vane and brewery industrial pumps. In 1921, Harry E. LaBour established the LaBour Company in Michigan City, Indiana, with the purpose of commercializing his patented valve-less, self-priming pump centrifugal pump line. Today as a part of the Peerless Pump family, LaBour focuses on the development capabilities that enable LaBour to customize existing products or develop one-of-a-kind pumps to handle difficult or special applications. LaBour offers a wide range of materials to meet almost any pumping application requirements.

In addition, LaBour markets specialty process pumps such as the DHL/DPL self-priming pumps, Q series triple volute pumps, DZT process and G-type self-priming verticle pumps.
