Information on Digital Access

IMPORTANT UPDATE June 2025

HI publications (Standards, Guidebooks, and Guidelines) utilize digital rights management (DRM) through partnership with Vitrium.  Access to a document after purchase will require the customer to sign into their pumps.org account. The customer can login and access their purchase(s) across 3 devices including a DRM protected download.

For Digital Publication(s) Access: After your order is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the file you purchased. Once you click the link, you will need to enter your account login credentials (same as used for purchase), and then you will be redirected to the site for online access. To access this content in the future, log in to your pumps.org account and click on “Account” to view your purchase history. Remember, downloaded PDFs can only be accessed with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader or Foxit PDF Reader.

For Digital Subscription Access: If you have ordered access to a subscription, please fill out the Subscription Admin Setup Form. After receiving the completed form, HI staff will reach out with detailed instructions on managing the subscription. After your account has been created in the backend of the subscription platform, go to subscriptions.pumps.org to login.

Download Acrobat Reader (free) | Foxit Reader (free)

The end-user license prohibits the installation of any HI copyright publications onto a network server or shared in a network environment. By purchasing a digital publication, the customer agrees to the terms of the end-user license agreement.
