Case Studies

About HI Case Studies

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) advances the pump manufacturing industry by producing trusted resources for technical knowledge and educational materials. Through the efforts of the HI Case Study Committee, HI has compiled a library of case studies that address a variety of topics. HI views each case study as a method to educate the field by succinctly highlighting a specific problem and/or circumstance, providing a description of the resolution, and what lessons were learned through the process.

The HI Case Study Committee is responsible for maintaining this comprehensive list of all HI case studies found within HI publications and Pump Systems Matter (PSM) training materials. To accomplish this, the committee meets monthly to discuss any recent submissions.

When you are ready to submit your case study, please email HITechnical@pumps.org (or click the button above). HI staff will confirm receipt of the case study for the committee to review. The review typically falls within one month.
