HI, in conjunction with the Valve Manufacturers Association (VMA) and the Fluid Sealing Association (FSA), are pleased to bring this conference and workshop to the Flow Control Industry to learn and discuss the most significant challenge to materials and products used in 20+ years.
The current focus on banning all PFAS raises a significant threat to our industry, as many components and other parts rely on this substance to protect health, the environment and meet regulatory requirements. This conference will provide an overview of the global, federal and state PFAS activities to date and further discuss potential implications. Additionally, topics such as research into replacements, testing, legal and liability, current compliance requirements, and more will also be discussed.
Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the PFAS discussion, where PFAS is used by our industry and its benefits, activities and approaches your company can consider now in order to help prepare for compliance requirements, manufacturing impacts, supply chain disruptions and customer questions. Attendees will also leave with an increased understanding of testing data and approaches, legal implications, and more.
ATTENDANCE: Anyone who is responsible for managing or understanding the implications of PFAS on the industry and their company should attend. This could include professionals from EHS, purchasing, technical, marketing & sales, quality, or other similar areas.
The conference is open to both members and non-members of all organizations.
