Grundfos USA Corporate Profile

Grundfos is a Danish word meaning "ground spring" (in other words, ground water), and Grundfos is a company that was quite literally built from the basement up. In 1945, in the cellar of his home in Denmark, young Poul Due Jensen created his first pump. Today, Jens Jorgen Madsen (Group President) leads an international company dedicated to designing, producing, and distributing advanced technology water pumps and pumping systems. Focusing on residential, industrial, commercial, HVAC, municipal, and turf applications, Grundfos has sales offices in over 35 countries, over 11,000 employees, and manufacturing plants strategically located around the globe. In North America, manufacturing operations are located in Olathe, KS and Fresno, CA., with sales and service companies in Fresno, CA, Toronto, Canada, and Monterrey, Mexico. An extensive network of manufacturer’s representatives, distributors, dealers, and wholesalers supplement the Grundfos sales force in serving customers and supporting our OEM partners.
