The Hydraulic Institute is the largest association of pump OEMs and supplier companies in North America. Learn more about HI and our educational subsidiary, Pump Systems Matter, and the work both organizations do in support of the global pump industry.
Membership in the Hydraulic Institute is open to pump manufacturers and companies that produce supplies/software used with pumps or pumping systems who sell in North America. We welcome new members and invite you to apply. Read about the application process, review eligibility requirements, estimate your company’s dues, print an application form, or request further information.
HI member companies range in size from small start-ups to some of the largest pump companies in the world. See a listing of our current member companies or use our online supplier finder to search our members by product type, market, location, or trade name. Already active in HI? Access our collaboration site where members work to develop world class ANSI/HI Pump Standards and Guidelines.
HI is well known as a standards developing organization and it is still the cornerstone of our work. But the benefits of membership extend to include unsurpassed networking and educational opportunities at all levels of your organization, access to key pump market data, unique opportunities to broaden your corporate marketing efforts, and industry representation in negotiating pump efficiency regulations.
The HI Partner Programs are designed to encourage participation of engineering consultants, pump users, academics, and retirees from the pump industry in the development of ANSI/HI Pump Standards. Participation by these constituents can lead to standards that better reflect a product’s end use and address site issues that may not be apparent to pump and supplier manufacturers. Learn more about the various partnership options for individuals and companies, search our Consultant’s Directory for an expert to assist with your project, or see how you and/or your company can benefit from becoming an HI Standards Partner, an HI Academic Partner, or an HI Pump Industry Partner.
